CONCERT

Concert poster and series of promotional materials for Grand Valley State University's 2022 Fall Concert. The headlining artist was lovelytheband, best known for their single "Broken."

I began this project by creating a moodboard for the concert branding. I drew from recurring elements found in the band's social media posts and photoshoots, such as the checkerboard pattern. The final kit included:

• Gig poster

• Banner hung in the central building on GVSU's campus

• Social media content (Instagram post and story, digital slide for the GVSU cable channel and concert venue screens)

• Media badges for the live event in Grand Rapids

Earlier editions of the print materials featured alternate photo shapes, patterns, and type treatments.

Ultimately, the band requested their name to be on one line rather than two.
